Stroke patient helped to walk by high-tech trousers

367740281 788744233258897 5809284963044429281 nA stroke survivor in the UK is learning to walk independently again owing to high-tech trousers powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The 65-year-old woman is part of the country’s first trial of the smart garment that could represent a breakthrough for stroke patients, reports the BBC.

The NeuroSkin trousers stimulated her paralysed leg using electrodes controlled by AI. She took part in the trial at the Morrello Clinic in Newport, Wales.
