Russia's Kira Plastinina pulls back from foreign expansion

Kira Plastinina, a Russian clothing network owned by the daughter of Russian billionaire Sergey Plastinin, has revised its earlier announced plans for global expansion in favour of the domestic market.

According to initial plans, the development of Kira Plastinina should have taken place through its expansion on the global market, and emerging nations in particular, through franchising and the establishment of joint ventures with local players. However, owing to Russia’ economic crisis, these plans have been revised.
