Large cotton spinning factory to be built in Turkmenistan

The government of Turkmenistan, together with private investors, has started building a new cotton spinning factory, which is expected to be one of the largest in the country.

The new facility will be established in the district of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, Dashoguz region.

The annual production capacity will amount to 6,000 tonnes of cotton yarn, which will make it one of the largest in the Central Asian region.
