1395316860779The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the EU, the US and Switzerland have helped a Ukrainian traditional textile producer to grow in the middle of a war, with new, more efficient machinery tripling capacity

Edelvika, one of the largest ethnic clothing and textile manufacturers in Ukraine, with a full production cycle from garment design to fabric weaving and embroidery, started with 14 machines in 1994, then grew to 52 machines over time, producing around 1m metres of fabric in 2004. It now employs more than 230 people and continues to grow, despite the current Russia-Ukraine conflict.
