Cambodia’s exports of garments, footwear and travel goods decline 13%
Cambodia’s exports of garments, footwear and travel goods (GFT) declined by 13% to US$11bn in 2023 amidst global challenges, leading to the suspension of work for many factory employees.
In 2022, GFT goods, the biggest export earner for the country, helped Cambodia earn US$12.6bn, an increase of 15% compared with 2021.
