New concept for sustainable period underwear
Kelheim Fibres and Gebrüder Otto showed their joint concept aimed at making period underwear more sustainable and high performing at the Techtextil trade fair, which took place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, at the end of April.
Exhibiting on the BW-i and IVGT joint stand, the German companies presented their solution for period underwear made from bio-based materials, which is said to provide “outstanding performance metrics”. The speciality viscose fibres used were sourced from Kelheim Fibres, while Otto spun them into the appropriate compositions.
