Malaysian fashion industry promotion generates export sales

The recent FACIT@INTRADE and Malaysian Fashion Week 2015 earned MYR126.5m (US$29.5m) worth of potential export sales, a 40% increase compared with last year.

The sales resulted from the incoming buying mission (IBM) co-ordinated by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) for Malaysian participants and international buyers.

Matrade said more than 1,600 business meetings were organised via the IBM.
