Lymphoedema and surgical wound dressing
A dressing configured to provide radial or semi-radial expansion to a tissue site to increase the flow of fluids in and around the tissue site is disclosed by KCI Manufacturing Unlimited (now part of 3M).
According to the company of Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland, the dressing can be used to treat tissue sites including sprains and strains to subcutaneous tissue sites such as, for example, a ligament or muscle.
