Australian wool company Lempriere is planning a long-term investment in Bulgaria and plans to install wool processing machinery at a facility in Sliven by April 2014, with production to start in early 2015.

The company will sell the processed wool on the Bulgarian market as well as on other EU markets at a later stage. Initially, Lempriere will employ 100-120 workers, with the prospects of hiring a further 150.
