US researchers create a ‘bandage’ for the heart
Researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Pennsylvania have developed a new method for three-dimensional printing hydrogel materials that mimic the strength and flexibility of human tissue and function like bandages, with the potential to repair damaged hearts or other body parts, by integrating with existing tissue.
