Sustainable leather for hybrid-electric aircraft seats
Gen Phoenix, in collaboration with Doy Design, has supplied Essence, its recycled low-carbon leather, for Heart Aerospace’s regional hybrid-electric aircraft, the ES-30.
The material has been used to upholster 30 passenger seats in the full-size mock-up of Heart’s latest demonstrator plane, Heart Experimental 1 (Heart X1), which was recently unveiled in Sweden.
