Smart fire suppression technology launched at UK airshow
Technology that uses smart fabric to extinguish lithium-ion battery fires in personal electronic devices on aircraft was unveiled at the recent Farnborough International Airshow.
Global engineering solutions provider Barnbrook Systems and technology firm Flair, both based in Fareham, Hampshire, UK, joined forces to launch the E-bag at the UK airshow to combat the danger.
