The Lenzing Group, a producer of wood-based speciality fibres, is expanding its global clean electricity portfolio and transitioning its production site in Purwakarta, Indonesia, to green electricity.
The company’s Indonesian subsidiary, South Pacific Viscose, has been using electricity generated solely from renewable sources since July, which will reduce its specific carbon emissions by 75,000 tonnes annually.
