World’s longest flexible fibre battery
Modern batteries will need to overcome numerous hurdles to power new technologies, such as flexible gadgets, electric vehicles and medical devices.
US researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say they have made a breakthrough in this field with the development of an ultra-long, fibre-based lithium-ion battery that could be woven into fabrics.
