Wire woven moquette featured on London’s Elizabeth Line
Transport for London’s new £18bn Elizabeth Line stretches for more than 100 km, stopping at 41 accessible stations – 10 of them new – and is expected to service around 200m London commuters and visitors each year.
Officially opened in May, the seats on the new 200-metre-long Elizabeth Line trains (British Rail Class 345 Aventra) feature a custom moquette designed by British textile design studio Wallace Sewell and made by Camira Fabrics to meet the highest of performance and safety standards.
