Seatbelt manufacturing plant to be set up in Indonesia

Automotive safety parts supplier Katsuyama Finetech is to set up seatbelt parts manufacturing plant in Jakarta, Indonesia, with an investment of ¥900m (US$11.6m) by 2014.

The new plant, which will produce plastic and metal attachment for 500,000 seatbelts set a year, is the company’s second overseas facility after its Thailand plant.
