Enhancing cabin air filtration with powder-injected nonwovens

The UK-based Nonwovens Innovation & Research Institute has developed a new particle injection technology for nonwovens used in cabin filtration.

This involves the direct mechanical injection of dry particles, such as powders, inside preformed nonwovens and their retention without the use of adhesives.
