Fibertex Nonwovens invests in North American market
Aiming to capitalise on rising demand for nonwovens, Aalborg, Denmark-based nonwovens producer Fibertex Nonwovens is investing DKK300m (US$48m) to expand capacity and meet the growing need for local production of nonwovens in North America.
The company, owned by Danish industrial conglomerate Schouw & Co, has acquired a 34-hectare industrial plot adjacent to its existing facilities in South Carolina, with a view to expand further to accommodate demand from North American global brands.
