Polish researchers develop textile mobile device charger

Researchers from Poland’s Lodz University of Technology have developed a textile charger that allows the charging of mobile phones, tablets and other portable electronic devices using the power generated by their users’ physical activity.

The invention could replace the heavy, and often large, power banks currently available, which usually contain toxic substances.
