Philippine lawmaker urges agencies to collaborate to boost textile industry

A Philippine lawmaker has urged government agencies to work together to strengthen the country’s textile industry.

Speaking at the Philippine Silk Summit, Senator Nancy Binay said collaboration among different government agencies is necessary to oversee the process of silk production and other indigenous fabrics.
