Hungarian wool industry seeks investment for processing facility

A tender worth €10m (US$10.8m) is being offered by the Hungarian government to establish a wool processing facility, of which only €4m (US$4.3m) is required to be paid back, according to Janos Vass of Hungarowool, a leading wool exporter in Hungary.

The government subsidy is designed to cover such costs as building a wool scouring facility and perhaps a combing facility.
