Cotton farming abandoned in Cambodia

Despite huge amounts of potential and a well-rooted past, Cambodia’s cotton cultivation industry seems to be in a precarious state.

Although the country relies heavily on cotton fabric in its key clothing sector, insiders say Cambodian farmers have mostly abandoned the crop.
