Burmese clothing workers owed compensation in Thailand

previewWorkers at a Thai factory supplying clothing to Tesco, Starbucks, Disney and NBC Universal are still owed compensation for alleged mistreatment they experienced when producing apparel products for these brands.

In early November, 26 Burmese workers from the Kanlayanee garment factory, based in the Mae Sot region of Thailand, returned to court in their third attempt to obtain justice for the alleged abuse and exploitation they suffered while making products for these four large global brands.
