Swedish textile machinery association opens office in Vietnam

The Textile Machinery Association of Sweden (TMAS) has established a local office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, headed by business development representative Tran Phuoc Thanh (pictured, left), who has experience with the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group.

“TMAS is positioned for the long-term in Vietnam,” said TMAS president Mikael Äremann (pictured, right). “The country is emerging as the new global production centre of textile products and we want to be part of this exciting growth and expansion.”
