Myanmar clothing factory orders fall by 75%

Clothing factories in Myanmar have seen orders fall by 75% year on year owing to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Manufacturers are struggling as the EU’s orders for spring apparel have declined by more than half, according to U Kyaw Win, vice chairman of the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association.
