Global standards for textile production in Uzbekistan

The government of Uzbekistan plans to speed up the standardisation process of textile production in a move to bring it to global manufacturing standards.

According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in recent years the country’s textile sector has partially shifted to international best practice and standards, which has enabled an increase in exports.
