FDA clears antibiotic-embedded hernia mesh

Ariste Medical has achieved US Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance to market its drug-embedded, polypropylene hernia mesh in the US.

The new Ariste AB mesh is designed to reduce the risk of microbial colonisation during surgical implantation.
