Embedded pneumatic circuits for assistive garments
Textile-based pneumatic logic gates that could help people with functional limitations perform tasks without electronic assistance, eliminating the need for wearers to carry bulky power units, are being developed by mechanical engineers at Rice University’s George R. Brown School of Engineering in Houston, Texas, USA.
