Car makers invest in sustainable lightweight materials supplier
Several vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, Volvo and Porsche, have made a CHF32.4m (US$35m) investment in sustainable lightweighting specialist Bcomp, which closed its Series B financing round last month.
The strategic investors comprise automotive venture capital from BMW i Ventures, Volvo Cars Tech Fund and Porsche Ventures, alongside Airbus Ventures, Generali and existing investors.
