Campaign group probes ‘union busting’ in Myanmar

Clean Clothes Campaign has launched investigations into allegations of mass sackings of trade union members and officials at global brand suppliers in Myanmar under the guise of cutbacks due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The workers’ rights campaign group has urged global clothing brand owners such as Inditex, Primark and Bestseller to take action to stop discriminatory lay-offs within their supply chains.
